In May of 2008, attorney’s Dipo Akin-Deko and Magin Puig envisioned building a legal practice that could cater to the growing business and individual diversity occurring throughout the United States; from this vision was created the law firm of Akin-Deko & Puig PLLC. On September 12, 2008, Akin-Deko & Puig opened its doors at 1629 K Street NW in Washington DC and has since opened a second office in Lanham Maryland to cater to the residents of Maryland. Our firm consists of attorneys who have at least two professional law degrees and are licensed to represent your interests in the District of Columbia, and the states Maryland, Texas and Florida.   In addition to our business practice set, Akin-Deko & Puig PLLC also partners with local non-profits and government entities to assist in protecting the rights of our growing immigrant community. Akin-Deko & Puig accomplishes this goal by providing free or reduced fee legal services and workshops for individuals and small businesses in underrepresented areas.
